The junior champions of 2007 Badoney open the Intermediate championship against CilIseal, elsewhere its Trillick and Aghyaran, Sperrin Og against Fr Rocks and a good all Western tie between Beragh and a rebuilding Cappagh.

Omagh are down a grade this season after failing to finish the intermediate campaign last season and they will feature in the junior championship game of the round against Clan Na Gael. A real local derby too will see Galbally play Pomeroy, while Kildress play Fintona and Lougmacrory are up against Sigersons.

The Junior B championship for division four clubs has a preliminary round and again a local flavour as Drumquin play Mna Na Deirge, the winners lay Coalisland, An Charraig play Dungannon seconds, Moortown play Donaghmore and Drumragh will have a stern test against Carrickmore B.

The fixtures committee will confirm dates and venues shortly, but already it appears the championship season cant come around quickly enough.
