Two good teams battled it out but the point scoring of the West Tyrone club saw them move up to grade one on the scoreline of 1-19 to 3-5 Both sides will certainly find the going tough in grade one with some quality sides already well established there.
Galbally also got their moment of glory last week when in a very entertaining grade three championship final they secured a 6-7 to 3-6 victory over the ever improving Drumragh. Still at underage level the semi-finals and quarter finals of the Tyrone Under 14 championships went ahead and expect a cracking grade one final after two close semi-finals. In the second division it was a case of so near and yet so far for St Endas who will feel hard done by as they lost to Loughmacrory last Thursday night.
