TYRONE LADIES FOOTBALL

Errigal Ciaran turned on the style on Monday evening to ease themselves through to next weeks   Grade One minor championship final and a meeting with old rivals Aodh Ruadh. St Macartans battled well early on but once Errigal built a head of steam there was no stopping them It ended 5-11 to 3-7. The other game of the evening was a lot closer and Aodh Ruadh were forced to battle all the way against Cill Iseal.

Cill Iseal will indeed host Monday nights grade one final then and its expected to be a thriller. County starlets a plenty on show and both sides capable of producing the goods on the day. Throw in time is 7.30pm.

Into Grade two and Loughmacarory had no answer to the power of championship favourites now Cappagh. A dominant display by the Ballinamullan club   6-12 to 3-7 it ended in their advantage in the quarter final. Glenelly now up for Cappagh after a comfortable 4-8 to 0-10 victory over neighbours Clan Na Gael.

The other semi-final next Monday is an all East Tyrone affair as Fr Rocks   meet Ardboe. Cookstown through after beating Agyharan.

Drumraghs advance continued on Monday in grade three as they progressed to the semi-final stage of the championship by virtue of a good won over Fintona, in the last four they meet Coalisland. Na Fianna   also score 2-12 in their victory over Sperrin Og. Glenelly had a commanding victory over MnA Na Deirge to assure themselves a place in the last four while Kildress beat Pomeroy.
