COUNTY BOARD NOTES

The beginners referees course will go ahead this Saturday at 10am at Cappagh, new referees must be over 18 years of age and should bring football gear for the practical sessions. Names should be forwarded to Paddy Donnelly and Kevin Cassidy   ahead of the date. All clubs MUST HAVE active referees this season as games will be affected, a refreshers course will also go ahead on February 25 th at Killeshill and again any one wanting to referee in 2008 must attend this.

Affiliation fees MUST be paid this week if teams are to play this season and any outstanding monies to the County board should also be forwarded to the County Treasurer.

An Ulster council clubs workshop will go ahead a Cappagh on March 13 th Chairman, Vice chair, Secretary, registrar and PRO should attend. Club delegates have been issued with the information and this should be sent back to Sheena Tally asap.

Finally with challenge games being pencilled in now for many clubs, you are all reminded that three days notice by both clubs must be forwarded to the County secretary Maggie Skelton , the venue and referee must be confirmed and team sheets should be used
