SENIOR LEAGUES OPEN TONIGHT (Thursday 18/05/06)

Grade one clubs meanwhile will play a series of league re-fixtures next Monday evening and many of those players will be in action this coming weekend as the senior leagues swing into gear.

St Endas and Sperrin Og will have the honour of opening the league season this evening (Thurs) as they meet in division two while in Division one theres two Friday evening throw ins. Glenelly back in the top flight host St Macaratans while the big local derby goes ahead at Garadrum Park as the re-established St Dympnas host Trillick.

On Saturday its Aghyaran home to An Charraig Mhor and Errigal home to Glen. Certainly its close to call but it will be a two horse race possibly again between Errigal and An Carraig Mhor.

Cappagh will start life in Divison two on Saturday away to Fr Rocks, Moy host Fintona and Loughmacrory are home to Kildress. Omagh will be fancied by many but despite the influx of several quality minors serious injuries will limit their squad and that could be costly.

Division three boasts fourteen clubs and its expected to be a keenly contested title race, favourites in many eyes though are An Charraig Mhor B   who open against Galbally . Elsewhere newly formed Drumragh go to Mna Na Dierge Coalisland meet Ardboe
