A missed Sarah Connolly penalty failed to deny Errigal Ciaran the Tyrone minor championship crown on Monday night. Bizarrely Connolly had already been yellow carded but was allowed to take the spot kick against Aodh Ruadh who certainly battled to the end of a keenly contested minor decider. Errigal had controlled much of the tie at Killeshill on Monday night but the Dungannon club bounced back and will feel hard done by after having two goals disallowed. In the end it was Niamh Kelly who collected the grade trophy from Patsy McCrory claiming the title with a 3-7 to 2-8 victory.

The grade two and three finals will be decided next Monday 22 nd , Cappagh will face Ardboe in what will be a thriller in grade two while Drumragh will have to be at their best as they play Galbally Onagh Celts.

In the grade two semi-finals on Monday last Cappagh edged a seven point victory over Glenelly with Ardboe having a mammoth tussle with Fr Rocks. Drumragh had a ten point victory over Coalisland, Galbally secure their final spot with a comfortable victory over Kildress.
