MINORS OPEN SEASON IN TYRONE
Competitive football returns to Tyrone this weekend with the opening round of the minor league pencilled in to kick-start the season. The Under 14 season isn't far away either and clubs are finalising their plans for the new campaign.
For the minor mentors in all grades tine is up as far as pre-season build up goes. St Endas move into grade one and while the bulk of the 2005 double winners squad is still there Omagh will have their work cut out with an opening day game against Errigal Ciaran at Healy Park. Sarah Connolly a doubt for the visitors because of her county senior commitments. An Charraig mhor go to St Macartans on the opening day while St Dympnas host Cill Iseal.. Many peoples favourites this term Dungannon have a bye.
Cappagh will play host to Beragh on Saturday while Glennelly are home to Loughmacrory in the two sectioned grade two.
Finally in grade three Galbally and Coalisland and Sigersons against MnA Na Deirge are expected to serve up some opening day derby thrillers.
