CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS MADE IN TYRONE

Holders of the Tyrone senior football crown Carrickmore will open their defence against Fr Rocks in the quarter finals of this years championship after the draws were made on Tuesday night. The new kids on the block Intermediate champions Aghyaran were drawn against beaten finalists Aodh Rua while Sperrin Og will play St Macartans. Kildress meanwhile await the winners of Trillick and Errigal Ciaran in the remaining quarter final.

Moving to Intermediate action and like the seniors action starts on June 17-18 and again some interesting ties, Galbally play Moy who won the junior title in 2004, Glennelly play St Endas with St Teresas in a meeting with club of the year Badonney, Beragh received a bye as did Cappagh in the junior draw.

Killeshill open against Coalisland, Mna Dierge play Sigersons in a North Tyrone derby while Fintona play Pomeroy again games open on the 17th June.
