• St Macartans have five players in the squad , An Charraig Mhor four, Errigal Ciaran and Aodh Ruad three apiece.

• 17 Clubs are represented in this squad.

• Anne Dooher is the sides captain Siobhan  McGarvey is vice captain.

• Four players Niamh Woods, Sarah Connolly, Christiane Hunter and Clodagh Poyntz have already claimed Ulster minor medals this year and are still part of the minor squad. Woods is the minor captain. And with Connolly this is her second year on the senior squad.

• Elish Gormley has been out of action for over six months with a groin injury, she had surgery and is back playing club football.  Connie Fox and Mearaid McCann are also long term injury cases.

• This is manager Jimmy McCloughans first Ulster championship campaign, he took over the senior managers role in November 2006.

• With Tyrone vocationals McCloughan guided them to 4 Ulster and 2 All Irelands as well as two further all Ireland finals.

• Some forty players were involved in the Tyrone national league squad.

• Tyrones last final appearance was in 2005, they lost to Monaghan.

• There last senior Ulster title was in 2003
